The goal of this project is selling advertising, of course. But beyond the enterprise came another idea, more important, that to help schoolboys and schoolgirls whom parents do not have the financial capacity to afford a simple school list; with the consequence that those children begin their school year without having the necessary tools on hand. An unacceptable situation that we must stopped. Indeed, through a NPO (non-profit organization) we intend to give a good portion of all the income generated by Million Dollar Icon Site (MDIS). In the process of creating this new enterprise, we have thought to support a cause that is dear to our heart. For having known the two persons responsible for the OTLM project (Opération Tendons Les Mains), we could not miss the occasion to tell you about their incredible work. Indeed, OTLM, founded in 2006, is a non profit organisation that helps needy students from primary and secondary degree, whose parents can not afford to buy everything requested on the school item list: meaning that those young boys and girls begin their school year without having the necessary tools. Just like if their task was not enough yet, always with very little financial resources, the co-founders of OTLM, Lise Fournier and Michel Côté, recently decided to do everything in their power to eliminate (at least aim to it) the school dropping-out problem. Unacceptable situations that must be corrected. Even if OTLM campaign is for the moment active in its own community, Arrondissement du Vieux-Longueuil in the province of Québec (Canada), up until now, through the event that occurs every year during the month of August, they managed to help over 4 200 needy students. Obviously, their overall goal is to be able to help the greatest number of children around the Province of Québec, keeping in mind the elimination of the school dropping-out problem. According to us, that is certainly a project that is bounded to grow up fast. For all those reasons, MDIS has decided to give OTLM twenty percent (20%), for a maximum of 100 000 $, of all the incomes that will be generated by the enterprise.
